Upper Alaknanda River Rafting Expedition

Day 1 Delhi – Haridwar (around 4hr 52min)

Main Attractions: - Mansa Devi Temple, Chandi Devi Temple, Maya Devi Temple, and the Daksheswara Mahadev Temple, evening aarti at har ki pauri

On reaching to Delhi airport, meet our representative who’ll assist you to the vehicle, drive to Haridwar, on arrival at Haridwar, and check in to the hotel. After relax for a while, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Haridwar. Visit the main attractions of Haridwar include Mansa Devi Temple, Chandi Devi Temple, Maya Devi Temple, and the Daksheswara Mahadev Temple.

In the evening attend on the aarti that takes place at Har Ki Pauri. Return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 Haridwar – Rishikesh

Main Attractions: - Three Blind Mice, Body Surfing and the Rollercoaster along with the small rapids

Morning after breakfast, drive to Rishikesh. The town is also famous for Ayurveda treatments and Meditation and Yoga, hence it also, known as Yoga Capital of the World. Rishikesh is not all spirituality and meditation, now a days, it is popular as white-water rafting center, backpacker hang-out, and gateway to treks in the Himalaya.

Upon arrival in Rishikesh, check-in at the hotel. After relaxing for a while, head to enjoy a rafting excursion. During rafting in Rishikesh, get familiar with paddling and safety techniques before that. While rafting take a trilling experience of some of the best rapids on the Ganges including Three Blind Mice, Body Surfing and the Rollercoaster along with the small rapids. The day finishes back at Rishikesh. Return to the hotel, have your dinner, overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3 Rishikesh – Kaldubagarh

Main Attractions: - Devprayag and Rudraprayag include Raghunathji temple, Dashrathshila, Koteshwar Mandir and Dhari Devi Mandir

After breakfast, drives to reach Kaldubagarh, on the way visit the Hindu pilgrim places of Devprayag and Rudraprayag. The major attractions to visit in Devprayag and Rudraprayag include Raghunathji temple, Dashrathshila, Koteshwar Mandir and Dhari Devi Mandir. After the visit resume drive to Kaldubagarh.

On reaching Kaldubagarh, check-in at camps. Have your dinner and overnight stay in Camp.

Day 4 Kaldubagarh – Chamoli – Kaldubagarh

Main Attractions: - TChamoli Rafting

Post breakfast, drive straight to Chamoli. On reaching Chamoli, gear up to start for most challenging raft, while rafting fight some outrageous grade IV and IV plus rapids. In the evening return to the Camp, dinner and overnight stay at Camp in Kaldubagarh.

Day 5 Kaldubagarh – Gauchar

Main Attractions: - Enjoy rafting till Gauchar experiencing

After early breakfast, enjoy rafting till Gauchar experiencing the grade III and IV rapids. While rafting, reach the confluence of Pindar at Karaprayag. Here, the Pindar River adds more water to the already rapid Alaknanada adding more punch and zest to the rapids to follow. Return to the hotel in the evening. Have your dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 6 Gauchar – Rishikesh – Haridwar – Delhi

Main Attractions: - The Kakar Fall, Evening Aarti at Har Ki Pauri

On the last day of the tour, after breakfast, go all the way to Rudraprayag rafting in the raft boats. On reaching Rudraprayag, enjoy grade V rapids at the Kakar Fall. Lastly cross the grade IV rapid – Holy Hole.

After the rafting, drive to Haridwar via Rishikesh. On reaching Haridwar, attend the evening aarti at Har ki Pauri. After attending aarti return to Delhi for the onward destination.
